INGREDIENTS:
- 3 pounds pork shoulder or Boston butt roast
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup BBQ sauce
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
- Salt and pepper to taste

INSTRUCTIONS
Step 1: Prep the Pork
- Season the pork shoulder with salt and pepper on all sides.
- Place the sliced onions and minced garlic in the bottom of the slow cooker or large pot.
- Put the seasoned pork shoulder on top of the onions and garlic.
Step 2: Prepare the BBQ Sauce
- In a mixing bowl, combine BBQ sauce, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, and ground cumin.
- Stir well to form a thick sauce.
Step 3: Slow Cook the Pork
- Pour the BBQ sauce mixture over the pork shoulder in the slow cooker or pot.
- Cook on low heat for 8 hours or high heat for 4 hours until the pork is tender and can be easily pulled apart.
Step 4: Shred the Pork
- Remove the pork shoulder and place it on a cutting board.
- Use forks or tongs to pull the pork apart into shreds.

- Return the shredded pork to the slow cooker or pot.
